What's new:

Multifunction Display (MFD)

There is a new element in the HUD: a trigger-able MFD, that hosts a new back view camera, biome information, planet information and mission objectives. With F5 (standard setting, re-bindable) you can switch through the panels!

Check also out the new Mod Options: if you are not on a modern GPU/PC you can disable the MFD completely, or only the new back view camera which has for sure a little FPS performance impact.

vonCommander Standard Neurohelmet Time Setting

For Single player, you can set your vonCommander Neurohelmet Time standard in Mod Options. If you set it to zero, then you basically auto-pause in vonCommander, allowing you all the time to plan your commands.

vonCommander: Mech Spawn Fix

Mech Drops in vonCommander should now work as expected, they had some hiccups before, and I have completely rebuilt the functionality to fix it up.

Custom Color System Overhaul

I have overhauled the underlying system for your custom colors, which now allows also full transparency if you prefer and better color representation. You may need to set your HUD colors again on the new system.

Heat

Your HUD now turns more and more red when you overheat — this can help to see intuitively when things get hot in the cockpit.

Crosshair Heat and Speed Information

On the right side of the crosshairs, there is now the information about your Mech's speed and Heat preset to always have it right in your view.

Lance Mate Paper dolls

I have integrated paper dolls for your lance mates where it should be: at the place also the lance mate status and commands are. This is a first version — my goal is to further have the paper dolls directly included with the rows of the MW5 command panel, but that needs a little more time still.

In coop, the paper dolls only are displayed for the commander (aka host) to work without issues in multiplayer. That also gives a new role to the commander in a coop game, warning the other lance mates if they get damaged and do not notice. There is also a Mod Option to deactivate the lance mate paper dolls if you would rather not use them.

Mission HUD Declutter

More Mod Options allow you to deactivate the vanilla mission objectives display, since you do not need it all the time, and it is also available in the MFD. Secondly, you can also deactivate the vanilla commands panel, if you know the F-Keys already by heart. Less in the view is more cockpit feeling;)

New Curve Distortion

vonHUD also has a new curve distortion, so it looks more like being projected inside a helmet's visor. If you prefer the old curve, there is a Mod Option to switch back.

What's next:

To not lose too much sanity, I am back a little in working for vonBiomes to do creative stuff instead of blueprints, and there are still custom level tiles to be made for the new Agriculture Fields biome. Working on it, I hope to have a new update out soon, end of November/Early December with the extended biome. Let's keep our fingers crossed! :)
