Aaaaand the next: vonHUD v11 - DLC7 ready for the Mechwarrior 5 Shadow of Kerensky is here. The new update also integrates some more stuff, mainly some new HUD icons and a new Heat Visual FX, which makes you see overheating in high levels better and also adds an effect of hot air in the cockpit:

New stuff in vonHUD for Mechwarrior 5 Shadow of Kerensky
vonCommander: More Drop-In Killers
Satellite View Drop ins (assault base, field base, ...) will (hopefully) now not escape being destroyed at the end of a mission; so far my testing was good. I hope the drop-ins are now fully safe to use without the need to reload an autosave if parts of the base objects are displayed into the next mission.
Clan Crosshairs
When you pilot a Clan Mech, the crosshair design is more aggressive. I have created 4 clan versions of the vonHUD crosshairs (one for piloting light Mechs, one for medium, heavy, and assault).
This is a first step and proof of concept (thanks to Gilgamexican on the vonMods Discord for the tip on what game tag to use in the logic!) - I plan to make all new Clan HUD backgrounds too so Clan Mechs have their unique look & feel in-cockpit.
New Icons in the vonHUD Style
I must say I have not seen them in game. But should be okay;)
- New Icons: Crate (new create icon with a crate and a transmitter, better reflecting what crates are in MW5 instead of the suitcase/chest icon)
- New Icon: Tag Marker Overlay
- New Icon Overlay: Alley Color Overlay
Cockpit Extended Heat FX
I often had the issue in-game that I did not really see/feel that my mech was overheating. The new effect is not tuned to make the view red at high heat levels, like in a pilot almost passing out. The dramatic effect starts at 80% heat.
Also now, when overheating, the air starts to cook in your mech starting from 50% on the lower end of the screen.. looks quite fancy HOT!
Known:
- The Airstrike bar in the cockpit view does not display the charging animation - not yet sure why, but it is just visual, not a release blocker or breaker.
- vonCommander: Neurohelmet time scaler bar does not jump visually to the base value, set in Mod Options. Just a minor issue, things are working correctly; it is only the display of the value.

Enjoy vonHUD and the new DLC, I have only played three missions so far, but it is already amazing. The first cutscene, oh boy oh boy :D
To celebrate the new DLC7 and next-level MechWarrior storytelling, I will also push this version right away on Nexus and Steam. Drop Ins Public Release!
